A story that began six years ago. . .
2018: Benjamin came back from three years abroad in Canada, and was looking for professional opportunities in France. During an event, he met Mai and they hit it off straight away. Benjamin impressed her by talking about his experiences abroad and his sports capabilities. Very quickly, they planned trips and swim sessions. However, Mai quickly realized that those capabilities were fake when she saw his level in swimming! But it was too late, the love was already there.
They moved together in 2019, in Palaiseau, at Mai's family apartment. Benjamin quickly got used to this city, and joined the triathlon club, where he made new friends.
In 2020, COVID stopped the world and forced them to stay home during 3 lockdowns : an eye-opening experience that allowed them to love each other even more. They then decided to adopt Missy (their cute but playfulness little cat but with a strong personality).
In 2021, Mai parents' neighbors decided to sell their house. Benjamin saw that as a great opportunity that they couldn’t miss : be closer to the train station so that Mai could reduce her commuting time to go to work, but also to be neighbors with his in-laws and enjoy her mother-in-law's good meals. December 2021, they signed the deal for the house. The young owners are slowly building their new life.
In June 2023, during a beautiful walk in the Parc de Sceaux, the place where they started dating 5 years ago, Benjamin proposed, and as you assumed, Mai said YES !
They are now very happy to celebrate their LOVE on April 26, 2025 with you, but also with their little girl Léna, who has filled them with happiness since March 2024.
